Duluth Airshow--2017

I love shooing aviation subjects, and this airshow provides a great opportunity to capture great images. I am looking forward to capturing two subjects in particular. The first is the Heritage Flight, consisting of the Air Force's newest combat aircraft, the F-35, flying formation with a classic P-51 Mustang. The other is the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels Aerial Demonstration Team.

The Duluth, Minnesota Airshow is 3-4 June, 2017. Here are a few images from the show's practice day on Friday.

This magnificently restored aircraft is an actual WW II 9th Air Force combat veteran. It resides at Wings of the North aviation museum at Flying Cloud Field, Eden Prairie, Minn.
