Here are some of my recent projects and assignments.  Between paying assignments, I volunteer my photography skills to local non-profit organizations that serve our community.  Donating my time and talents allows me to contribute and also  develop my skills.

Wings over Dallas 2018

My latest assignments was to capture the Commemorative Air Force's 2018 Wings Over Dallas WW II Airshow,Oct 26-28.  This event is more than an airshow, it is a living history lesson.

The CAF will use my images through the year to promote the organization and tell of the CAF's mission to educate and commemorate.

Adya High School Senior Portrait Session--Aug, 2016

At the end of August, I had the pleasure of shooting Adya's Senior Portraits.  Her playful spirit made this portrait session very enjoyable!

We had a great time creating these images at Hot Sam's Antiques and Bizarre Stuff Emporium, located just south of Lakeville.

Eagan Market Fest--July 13, 2016

My local photography club, the Minnesota Valley Photo Club, has a great partnership with the city of Eagan.  Our club photographs Eagan Parks and Recreation Department activities, allowing Eagan to use the images to promote events.  In exchange, club members obtain access to the events and the opportunity to be published in city publications and websites.

Through the summer, Eagan hosts a weekly Marketfest, which includes a farmer's market and vendors, live music, and a theme.  The theme this night was a Car Show, and owners brought out some beautiful autos.  One of my favorites was a 1956 Buick, pictured below.  Click HERE to see more of my Automobile Images from Marketfest.

Below are a few images I captured at the event.

Doolittle Raider and MoH Recipient meet at MSP.

In July, the Armed Forces Service Center asked me to photograph a special event.  Air Force Lt Col Dick Cole, the last surviving crew member of Doolittle's Tokyo Raiders, met with recent Medal of Honor recipient Edward Byers at Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport.  Lt Col Cole was General Doolittle's co-pilot aboard the first plane that launched off the aircraft carrier for the daring April 1942 mission.  Mr Byers earned the Medal of Honor for military action in Afghanistan.

Being in the presence of these two gallant men was a humbling experience.

Armed Forces Service Center at MSP Airport

The Armed Forces Service Center at the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport supports active military personnel and their family members traveling through the airport.  The center is a non-profit operation.  When the center needed new photos to update their brochure and website, I volunteered my services.

The below photo of the center's lounge is a panorama created by stitching together several separate images.

Yellow Ribbon Ladies Lunch

Lakeville, Minn has a very active  Yellow Ribbon organization, which supports our currently serving military members, their families, and veterans.  I frequently photograph Yellow Ribbon events, providing images for the attendees as a keepsake.

In May, the annual Ladies of the Military Luncheon had a special theme--Kentucky Derby--since the luncheon was on the same day as the derby.

Employing some photography magic, the ladies pictured at the luncheon were made to appear as though they were at the races!
